Strange Brew: The Very Best of Cream is a 1983 compilation album by the British rock band Cream. In a contemporary review, Village Voice critic Robert Christgau wrote that the album must be the fifth or sixth Cream reissue-I stopped counting around 1976-but it's the only one I ever played twice, and I've always wanted an album with 'Anyone for Tennis' on it. It's a wonderful tribute to a man who gave so much to rock music. The rest of the album is excellent. I have all the Cream Albums and most of Clapton work but this compilation brings together most of my favourite on one disc. I listen to this while cycling on a Turbo cycle trainer and these track from that period and Led Zeppelin ensure I keep up a good speed. Read more.
