No one should complian about a Stone's vinyl album being on 2 x LP's.. the tracks sound way better for being pressed this way. I'd have it on 6 sides if I had the choice. These boys keep me rockin'!
fabscf fabscf
Technically, it should sound better if they handled it properly. Good to know, might go get this album on vinyl. Last stones double Album I bought was Exile on Mainstreet, I know this won't compare..but this looks like a nice collectable to have on vinyl.

is this speeded up a little..somehow...this not sounds naturally...sounds like its a fake ?i´m very sorry if my own brain causing that timelesssssss.
Cildorais Cildorais
Does this play at 45 speed? Otherwise it seems odd for such a short album to be on two discs.
Beabandis Beabandis
It's not odd. It's called spacing out the grooves for better fidelity, it runs at 33.3. Disco records have done this since the 70s, taking up the entire side, sometimes at 33 sometimes at 45. If it ran at 45, I would have taken maybe 3 discs, and believe it or not, even higher fidelity when played at a faster speed, but you need more real estate. It's a good move to appeal to true audiophiles that enjoy vinyl .
Arashitilar Arashitilar
Is there any talks about a single LP edition? So I can buy it? It's absurd a 40min album released as 2LP.
Zuser Zuser
It's not absurd from the standpoint of wanting better sound quality, which many new vinyl collectors are slowly starting to understand "Just cause it's on vinyl doesn't automatically make it superb" .. The more real estate audio takes up on vinyl, the better quality (in theory) it should be. They ponied up to offer a top end offering with a deluxe package such as this. If you want one disc, but the CD or DVD audio version. This is based on factual technical details.

Cant find my copy here 572 012 ? Can anyone identify
Jum Jum
Why is this on two LPs? It's long enough to fit on one. Also, the cat# should be 571 494-1 - the -4 suffix is usually used for cassettes.
Golkis Golkis
What's the difference between this en the France-Benelux version ?How do you know wigh you are ?
Thorgaginn Thorgaginn
This album is a bullshit. Not bad musically, but 12 tracks, 43 minutes, 2 LPs for 28€.I hope that Rolling Stone live well !!!
Ironrunner Ironrunner
I suppose it doesn't even spin at 45rpm huh ? :-D

Great to see they pressed this at MPO, Most Polydor stuff ends up at the GZ Media Wrecking plant! That said Its a very raw sounding record so it might not have mattered.. Great return to roots by the Stones, very reminiscent of there debut album.

I purchased the LP in France at FNAC stores, the sound is no bad and the LP was delivered with a download card, that I gave to my daughter (It's nice to see that the young generations like the Stones and the Blues, just like me when I was 15).
Milleynti Milleynti
The download card gives access to MP3 files (320kbps) AND the wav. files, too (technically the original CD album that stands in the stores) - so, why should anyone download an (illegal?) torrent or stream lossy music when you get the CD-files for free?
Skyway Skyway
Do you really use this "download cards" nowadays? It is ridiculous when you have torrents and apple music.
Gamba Gamba
I like this record because I like the Blues and the Stones, but the lazy glimmer twins could have done a better job, they had plenty of time for it. They didn't want to miss the x-mas sales ? Recorded in 3 days ? I can believe it. I notice that Mick's voice limit / limit in some songs, he shouts too much. Anyway I listen to it every day and I like it better day after day. They got me at last.
Xtintisha Xtintisha
They weren't even planning on putting this out. They were simply jamming and decided to record. With that being said at least they put something out! How many people do you know who could pull this off without overdubs or anything? It was recorded live in the studio!
Priotian Priotian
A little bit disapointed by the audio quality of this LP. I tried to contact MPO and Capitol Studio in order to get more information about the master. For the moment no answers...
Arihelm Arihelm
I totally agree with you, some frequencies are over saturated, I guess that's what happens when the studio recording is made for digital and then pushed to Vinyl, and not the other way around. To me it sounds better in Spotify that with my LP, which is crazy!
JoJoshura JoJoshura
I think the sound quality is deliberate, in keeping with the original records
Getaianne Getaianne
Anyone else not get the digital download card with this release? Mine had a sticker on the back "Made in France" but no indication that there would be a digital download card as well. My friend also did not get a digital download card in his purchase via Amazon.
Fiarynara Fiarynara
I purchased the LP in the French record store FNAC, and they have a "Digicopy" site where the customers with "Fnac-Card" can download the Rolling Stone LP in MP3. (And also most of the new records purchased in their site or stores). Amazon is a bit crooky. I had also a download card in the French LP.
Pedar Pedar
to bad this is pressed by MPO most likely from a digital source
Beydar Beydar
notec to bad this is pressed by MPO most likely from a digital source Yeah I was questioning the sound quality too. Does MPO have a reputation for that? I wasn't clear on why u mentioned them.

talan3900 I have a download from Amazon and the sound production is perfect. The music it's The Stones at their best for The Blues. If you are expecting "Sympathy for the Devil" it's not for you. Just great Rolling Stones playing The Blues. Did you just purchase the download or did your album come with a download card? Just curious, as here on Discogs it states the non-US copies come with a card, but it doesn't say the same for the US copy. Thanks for your help!
