You, you're not justified To take my flesh and blood child And rape my pride. I, I got a holocaust in my soul You tried to shape me But I broke the mould. My beliefs flow like blood from a stone As I fight to stay within the dream That rusts inside your soul. Realize what you're giving me Is feeding my addiction. Powertrippin' is the third studio album by Scottish heavy metal band The Almighty. It was released in the United Kingdom in 1993 by Polydor Records and was the band's final studio album for that label. It was the band's first album to feature guitarist Pete Friesen, who replaced founding guitarist Tantrum. Friesen contributed to the songwriting and was a major part of the new sound presented on this album, introducing a heavier, riff-based grunge sound compared to the punk leanings of earlier efforts. 1993's Powertrippin' was album 3 from Scottish hard rockers The Almighty. The band started with a Skid Row meets Warrant hair metal sound, but you can hear them pushing in a heavier, Motorhead-driven rock sound on this album. Powertrippin' may be a heavy album, but it's also very melodic. Artist : The Almighty. Format: CD Album. You can and should shout along to these upbeat rockers, but they never seem as cheesy as the average 80's rock anthem. The Almighty just seemed tougher than most bands, and less concerned with their image. Powertrippin' is a completely rockin' album that should appeal to anyone who enjoys heavier 80's rock bands like L. Guns and Skid Row as well as today's rock revivalists like Black Tide and Endeverafter. If nothing else, it's good to see a relatively grunge-free rock & roll album in 1993. 답글 나에게 알림 Helpful.
