The joker in Forever Changing s pack, disc five has no musical policy or mission statement, save that its contents are roughly chronological. Some of these bands didnt stay at Elektra long. The Beefeaters became The Byrds, joining Columbia. Along the way, disc five is sidetracked gleefully by calypso crooners, bluegrassmen playing Beatles covers, marijuana paeans by pro-legalisation campaigners and yes bloody Judy Collins. But you cant complain. The adventures, the snap decisions, the gambles and mistakes of life Forever Changing has them all. It has music. Music that allows us to bear witness to what must have been a fabulous ride. Forever Changing might be the single best various-artists label-related box set I've yet purchased and I have several, all of them good. From the opening track Judy Collins' recording of Turn Turn Turn from her 1963 album, 3 to Jobriath's funky World Without End, which closes the 5th disc and ultimately the whole set, there's really not a bum track on here. Rate an album. Judy Collins - Tomorrow is a Long Time LP Version 04:10, 320Kbs. On this page you can listen to the album, get information about the album, see the list of songs and much more. Most important - you can download the album Forever Changing: The Golden Age Of Elektra Records 1963-1973 to your computer or phone absolutely free of charge, and without registration. Listen online and stay in a good mood. Album: Forever Changing: The Golden Age Of Elektra Records 1963-1973 2007. Ironically enough, the very fact that this is, indeed, a popular music box set says something about the end of Elektra Records' history that is embraced by its contents, Forever Changing: The Golden Age of Elektra 1963-1973, and a limitation in its scope and content - you won't mind buying it, but you'll heartily wish and would have bought. Forever Changes is the third studio album by the American psychedelic rock band Love. It was released by Elektra Records in November 1967 and would be the final album by the original band, as subsequent albums featured leader Arthur Lee backed by a variety of new players. Forever Changes failed to achieve commercial success when it was first released in 1967, but it has since become recognized as one of the greatest albums ever made, ranking 40th on Rolling Stone magazine's 2003 list of The 500

Truly fantastic compilation that really distills a *feeling* of an era. Poppy, groovy, bright early '90s psychedelia-tinged UK indie/alternative. About half of the groups here could sound reasonably at home lumped into the "baggy" sound (the exceptions being Swirl, Poppy Factory, Ever, Rain, and The Clouds). This is especially an excellent record to own for anyone who DJs danceable indie of the late '80s and early '90s.
Great compilation but I was never happy with the sound quality of the LP. Picked up the CD version a couple of years back and it's much better.
